Quantum Computing in Italy
On Thursday, November 26, the CINECA headquarters in Casalecchio di Reno (BO) will host a meeting dedicated to the challenges and opportunities presented by quantum computing projects currently underway in Italy. The event is part of the annual series of meetings organized by the Quantum Computing & Communication Observatory, a research project promoted by the School of Management at the Politecnico di Milano, which focuses on studying the Italian and international Quantum Computing market and creating a pre-competitive community of companies operating in the sector. Among the activities that will be discussed at the meeting, there are initiatives related to research and development in the field of quantum computing promoted and funded by ICSC – Italian Research Center in High-Performance Computing, Big Data, and Quantum Computing, which contributing to create a quantum computer hosted at the Technopole in Bologna.
