Italy and The Netherlands: An Alliance for the Growth of HPC, Quantum Computing and AI
On May 19, on the occasion of the eighth edition of the Italian Research Day in the World, the Italian Cultural Institute in Amsterdam will host the event “Italy and The Netherlands: An Alliance for the Growth of HPC, Quantum Computing and AI’.
Organized by the Italian Embassy in The Hague and ICSC – Italian Research Center on HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing, the event will focus on joint projects and initiatives between Italy and the Netherlands aimed at advancing High-Performance Computing (HPC), Quantum Computing, and Artificial Intelligence. It will explore collaboration opportunities to promote European technological sovereignty in these strategic fields.
Speakers will include Augusto Massari, Italian Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Antonio Zoccoli, President of the ICSC National Center and INFN. The program also features presentations and roundtables with representatives from innovative companies and startups, as well as researchers from leading Italian and Dutch scientific institutions actively engaged in R&D for high-performance simulation and data analysis applications.
